Call for Abstracts

The abstract submission deadline is April 25, 2024. For all related information, please follow the Abstract Submission Guidelines. Authors will receive an e-mail notifying them of their acceptance on June 21, 2024.

Cancellation & Insurance

Conference Cancellation or Postponement

The EANM accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond its reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion. If the EANM elects to re-schedule the conference, all registrations and additional items are automatically rolled over to the new dates of the conference. If the EANM elects to cancel the event, the liability is limited to a refund of registration costs, subject to fees and conditions. The EANM will not refund any travel costs associated with the cancellation of the event. Accommodation pre-payments will be refunded subject to the terms and conditions of the hotel.

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The EANM accepts no responsibility or liability against cancellations of bookings, loss or inconvenience or theft/damage of belongings.

As an additional service, the EANM offers you the possibility to purchase a personal cancellation insurance during the online registration process. The cancellation insurance is offered by Europäische Reiseversicherung. It covers up to 100% of your registration fees and hotel fees if you must cancel your participation in the event for any cause provided in the insurance terms.

Certificate of Attendance

Your certificate of attendance will be available in your myEANM-Area after the congress.

Childcare

As the EANM policy does not allow minors/children under the age of 18 to attend the Scientific Sessions and/or enter the Industry Exhibition, we are pleased to announce the availability of childcare services in Hamburg. Recognising the challenges families may face when attending a congress, we are working with Kidsevent, a professional childcare service company based in Hamburg.

Kidsevent offers a wide range of age-appropriate activities for children up to the age of 12.
Participants requiring childcare services during the conference should contact Kidsevent directly at +49 40 55567225 or via email at info@kidsevent-hamburg.de.

Please note:

• Participants are fully responsible for reviewing the services offered by Kidsevent and for determining whether they are suitable for their child.
• The EANM will not provide coverage for childcare services. Participants or their respective workplaces are responsible for directly covering these costs.
• The availability of these services cannot be guaranteed, and requests will be processed on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis by Kidsevent, depending on their availabilities.
• Participants utilising Kidsevent services accept full responsibility and assume all associated risks, absolving the EANM of any liability for issues arising from these childcare services.

Closing Ceremony & Farewell Cocktail

All registered participants and accompanying persons are cordially invited to the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Cocktail, which will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 11:25 to 12:15.

The Closing Ceremony will be held in Hall 1. The subsequent Farewell Cocktail will be held in the Foyers on Level 2.

CME Credits & Certificates

To acquire your CME credits, you will be required to scan your congress badge before entering any CME session. A general congress evaluation form as well as an evaluation form for each individual CME session must be completed.

Congress Bag

Continuing our commitment to environmental sustainability, like last year, the EANM has decided not to provide congress bags. However, feel free to re-use the congress bags distributed in previous years!

The congress language is English. Please note that no simultaneous translation will be provided.

Congress Self Check-In

To ensure a swift badge collection with no endless line, please come prepared with your QR code and a valid photo ID to our self-check-in stations, which will be in the EANM Registration Area (Entrance Hall).

Congress Venue

The CCH – Congress Center Hamburg is conveniently located in the city center. The Dammtor mainline train station and several other stations and stops of the public transportation system are within a distance of 100 to 500 meters.

The Members’ Assembly will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 13:15 to 14:45. Please note: Only EANM members in good standing (having paid their membership dues for the year 2024) are eligible to attend the Members’ Assembly.

Explore all the e-Posters uploaded for the EANM’24 in the e-Poster Area. You can easily find specific posters by searching for the author’s name, topics, or keywords.

Insurance & Liability

The EANM Office, the congress organisers, and the venue will not accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage to property incurred during the EANM’24. You are strongly encouraged to arrange your own travel and health insurance.

International Meetings & Announcement Board

Individuals and organisations are invited to showcase and promote their forthcoming events and congresses within the International Meetings & Announcement Board, fostering a collaborative platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge insights and advancements in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

Visit the International Meetings and Announcement Board, which will be in the Exhibition Area, to get information on upcoming events and initiatives.

Internet Corner

Internet access and limited printing facilities will be provided at dedicated stations across the venue. Please be mindful of others and limit your using time to maximum 5 minutes per person.

Job Board

Explore our exclusive job board designed for Nuclear Medicine professionals. Our job board will offer a streamlined platform for employers to post and promote exciting job opportunities within their field of expertise.

Attendees will be able to discover and advance their careers by browsing through a curated collection of job positions. Thanks to this initiative, they will also be able to extend their network. Lost and Found

A lost and found service will be provided at the EANM Registration Desk for the duration of the EANM’24.

Medical Facilities

Medical assistance will be available throughout the congress.

Media

By participating in the EANM’24, each congress participant acknowledges and allows the EANM to record, film, or photograph their attendance and use these images or videos in all media forms, now and in the future, without the need for further consent or payment.

There is a wide range of cultural opportunities in Hamburg. For prices, opening hours and further information, please reach out to your hotel’s reception desk or Hamburg’s official tourism office

Name Badges

Badges for the congress will be issued on-site between October 19 and October 23, 2024. The badges must be collected in person. A confirmation e-mail, including a QR code, will be issued upon successful completion of registration. With this QR, along with a valid photo ID, the name badge can be printed onsite in the registration area.

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception

All registered participants and accompanying persons are cordially invited to the Opening Ceremony and the Welcome Reception, which will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 18:00 to 21:45.

The Opening Ceremony, including the Highlights Lecture, will take place in Hall 1. The subsequent Welcome Reception will be held in the Foyers on Level 2.

Parking

Private cars can be parked for an additional cost in the CCH’s underground parking garage (Tiergartenstraße 2). Parking fees are €3 per hour, with a daily cap of €25. Further information can be found on the CCH’s website: www.cch.de.

Public Transportation Ticket

The EANM strongly encourages its congress participants to support its sustainability efforts by using Hamburg’s public transport system. For convenience, secure your transit pass ahead of the EANM’24 here.

Within the Online Shop, you will find a wide range of options: single rides, day tickets, weekly and monthly season tickets, annual subscriptions, as well as the HamburgCARD. These tickets can be easily printed or downloaded to your smartphone via a meinhvv client account.

Review Centre

The Review Centre will provide congress participants with the opportunity to check the presentations slides that will be presented during the EANM’24. If you miss a session, you will therefore be able to review the slides after the congress!

All foreign visitors entering Germany must hold a valid passport. For EU citizens, a valid photo ID is sufficient.

PLEASE CHECK THE CURRENT VISA REQUIREMENTS WITH THE NEAREST GERMAN CONSULATE/EMBASSY IN YOUR COUNTRY BEFORE TRAVELLING TO GERMANY.

All registered congress participants with a completed/paid registration can download a visa invitation letter within their myEANM-Area!
